Ascension in Turquoise

Ascension in Turquoise | Vertical Jellyfish Canvas Art

The Story & Symbolism

Ascension in Turquoise captures the turning point of an inner journey. Dipping into darker teal ocean depths before curving gracefully upward, this dynamic 12″ × 36″ vertical canvas represents a “topsy-turvy” moment in life’s currents—that chaotic yet necessary spiral of letting go before rising back into the light. It serves as a visual anthem for resilience, movement, and trusting your upward momentum.

Sacred Materials & Handcrafted Texture

Crafted for the Sacred Ocean Geometry collection, this painting was created using hand-mixed, non-toxic natural earth pigments. The transition from deep ocean blue to vibrant aqua carries the raw energy of grounded minerals, highlighting the intricate, ribbon-like textures of the tentacles as they surge upward through the water.

Note: This piece is designed to hang magnificently on its own or as the anchor of the 3-piece Bioluminescent Cascade Triptych and 4-piece Rising from the Deep installation.

Living Color & Light-Refracting Details

“Please note that this original piece is crafted using a unique color-layering technique combined with light-refracting, iridescent pigments. Because of these mineral layers, the painting is dynamic—its depth, shimmer, and colors shift subtly depending on the time of day, room lighting, and surrounding wall tones. Delicate details (such as the iridescent dots within the jellyfish bell) remain hidden in ambient light and magically awaken under direct spotlighting.”

“While every effort is made to capture the true essence of the artwork in photography, digital screens and color settings vary. The physical painting holds a depth, texture, and 3D luminous effect that can only be fully experienced in person.”
